In-form junior has his best round
A MIXTURE of youthful and experienced golfers took to Paradise Palms Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.
About 100 keen golfers took to the course with 44 taking part in the Stableford competition.
There were also a dozen juniors who stepped out in the fortnightly junior competition

Paradise Palms golf professional Daniel Gawley said it was a busy day at the club.
“Alfie Ward had his best round ever on Sunday, he played really well,” Gawley said.
“He is one of our juniors who has been playing for a couple of years.

Ward was the gross winner in the junior competition while the nett division went to Shun Mizutani with a score of 34.
David Harrison collected 44 Stableford points to claim the mixed competition of men and women.
“The course is looking great at the moment, the greens are starting to quicken up a bit so it is the time of year for golf to start happening,” Gawley said.
