Still recovering she, accompanied by her lovely sister Patti, attended the monthly committee meeting. Hoping to see you back on the fairways soon Marg. With our organizer out of action, sponsors Golf World trophy day wasn’t organized so a Club Trophy Stableford was held. Some great golf played and low rounds were played on the driest course we’ve had in months. Taking advantage of conditions and playing very good golf saw Ashley Healy win with 42 points. Breaking 80 off the bat his 16 handicap looks in jeopardy. Runner up was Shaun Darby 39 points in his first round since returning from his overseas adventures, 3rd David Gibson. NTP’s 1/10 David, 5/14 SIlver Fox and 8/17 Graham Murray. Next week’s competition is the Hugh and Robyn Stroke Trophy day.

Friday 6 Hole Chook is getting very popular with 20 starters this week.Winner on 15 pts was Jeff Stoter. Saturday 21st . The Juniors had a golf Clinic. Members and Visitors played the BV HOTEL sponsored H.Nasser Memorial Shield Stroke. Ladies winner on 72 nett was Sandra Watson, Ru-up Heather Beaven 74 nett on countback from Lyn Morrison. Sundays Yungaburra Butchery Stableford won by Peter Fraser 41 pts ( after quite a few runners-up spots), Ru-up Garry Thompson 39 pts. 35pts to G.Comino and M.Martin. This week Wed. Sporters falls on Anzac Day, so the Club will not open until 11 am with no alchol before 1 pm. The 11 Hole Sporters will be a Stableford with 3 Clubs and Putter. Thursday Ladies play a Gallery 5 sponsored Stroke event, Friday 6 Hole Chook run followed by the Goose Club Draw at 6.30pm. There is the return of the Friday Buffett Dinner at 7pm .book your table on 40911283. Saturday Juniors will play Monthly Medal .
