New-look ANZ in business
ANZ Bank customers will be greeted with a new-look retail store at Cairns Central after a seven-week refurbishment brought the outlet up to speed with digital offerings.
The branch has been closed for several weeks while the space was made more functional for customers and staff.
Far North Queensland district manager Peta Smith said the renovation was an investment in the community.
“It is the same space but it has been reconfigured,” she said. “The new design is brighter and bolder in colour and more immersive for both the customer and banker.
“We’ve adopted a humancentred design approach to ensure that the space is more functional for our customers and our bankers, who want more side-by-side discussions, fewer interactions across a desk and a richer digital retail experience.
“Previously there were no ATMs inside the branch. There are now two smart ATMs available for use during Cairns Central shopping centre’s opening hours.”
A business cash machine will also enable customers to lodge their secure business banking deposits.
Ms Smith said iPads would be stationed at the front of the shop for customer use as well.
“The staff at Central are excited to show off the newly renovated branch and will be available to navigate customers through the branch,” she said.
