INSURANCE crusader Warren Entsch said the Hogan family’s case highlighted “collusion and connection” between Australia’s big banks and insurance companies. “It beggars belief that ANZ were unaware that the insurance policy they required the Hogans to take out, didn’t even meet their needs,” the Leichhardt MP said. “ANZ made no effort to challenge the insurance company on behalf of their client, but instead offered to top up their loan balance in order to cover the damages.”
