Yungaburra looking pretty in pink

-

YUNGABURRA residents are painting the town pink to raise money for breast cancer nurses.

The town will hold “Paint Yungaburra Pink” celebrations on the weekend of July 21-22.

Yungaburra Pitstop employee Maria Brix said some people were so excited, they started two weeks early.

“We got in early to be on the same page and get donations to come through,” she said.

“When you talk to people, nearly every second person has been affected in some way.”

Event organisers are aiming to raise $1500 for the McGrath Foundation.
