End this rain of terror

-

I HOPE the airport’s $55m upgrade will fix the drop-off and pick-up area for buses.

Passengers deserve a world-class experience and not get drenched during the wet season. As it is now on a wet day they get wet and their luggage is soaked because there is no cover at the domestic or international bus areas. Michael Gann, Holloways Beach

That our tiny little airports will vie in the Skytrax awards the likes of Changi, Hamad International and Incheon? I don’t think so.

There’s no viewing platforms to gaze outside and perhaps watch the airport working, let alone see and experience the natural beauty of rainforest and reef afforded by the airport’s position.

Both of our airports are caves, little natural light with no long views and little walking available to stretch the legs. Just adding a few more cafes and redecorating the airport doesn’t make it world
