MAREEBA RIFLE CLUB

The Mareeba Rifle Club shot a 2 X 800yd comp. on Sunday. The conditions were overcast with little bit of left wind. Saturdays shooting conditions were good, with very little wind but it was quite cool. Next week’s competitio­n is a Rimfire Hunter Class over 50m. and 100 yds. Thursday’s social shoot starts at 8.15am. TABLELAND COMPANY OF ARCHERS

Beginners who attended the Tableland Company of Archers coaching session with George Neilson were Peter and Patricia Tuck. Three members shot practice and one member shot a Launceston Round. A general meeting was held after the shoot. Results Launceston Round: (72 arrows each at 50m and 30m on an 80cm face) Veteran Men’s Bare Bow Recurve: G Patten 538 Results 2018 Archery Queensland Target Championsh­ips held on 1st July: Members who shot with the Tableland Company of Archers against North and South Queensland clubs: Masters Men’s Compound: 1st Jeff Green Master’s Women’s Compound: 1st Moht Moht Swe.
