Pain to stir up Leps

-

A FIRED-UP Innisfail side will take their disappointment over a missed penalty goal last weekend into their clash with Cairns Brothers on Saturday. Innisfail fell short of a win last weekend against Mossman-Port Douglas after a penalty goal on full time was waved away, leaving the score at 24-all. A-grade coach Leon Hallie said it was a “bit of a disappointing way to finish it”. The Leprechauns sit third on the CDRL ladder, one spot behind Brothers, and Leps president Nick Souvlis said players know Saturday’s game will be tough. “It will be good this week to see where we are,” he said. “We’ve got a few small injuries from the weekend, but we’ll be pretty close to full strength.”
