Swimart rewards franchise partners

POOL and spa specialist Swimart will celebrate its 35th birthday at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas this week.

The company will also hold its annual awards ceremony and conference at the Far North destination.

“This year’s awards ceremony gives them another great opportunity to experience and support one of the many regional communities that is home to a Swimart store,” Swimart Cairns franchise partner Brendan Jacob said.

The Swimart awards recognise and reward top performing franchise partners.

This year, a total of 30 awards will be presented, including Australasian Franchisee of the Year and Australasian Retailer of the Year.

Thirty-four Queensland stores, including Cairns, Woree, and Kirwan, Townsville, are in the running for six individual awards.

The conference leading up to the awards has been designed to encourage continued outstanding customer service and operational excellence and to provide direction, support and training for the year ahead.

Swimart’s franchise development manager Alex Johnson said the business was able to continue in a competitive retail market because of its customer-centric approach.

“We’re an agile company that’s customer focused and service orientated. As franchisor, support is crucial to each store’s success, we educate our franchise partners about how to get the most out of their investment by helping them create motivated, competent teams,” he said.
