Held at the Yungaburra club, Turner and Mann defeated Kevin Foord and Michael Hooker (South Johnstone) 26 shots to 18. Both finalists had comfortable wins in the Semi finals with G Eagleton and M McGahan (Yungaburra) and T McAlary and V Ah Chin (Cairns unable to find the excellent form they had shown on the first day of play.
