TABLELAND COMPANY OF ARCHERS

The Tableland Company of Archers hosted their Annual August Interclub Tournament over the weekend. This tournament is sponsored by Paul Jerome Panel and Paint. In beautiful clear sky conditions with slight breezes occasionally, twenty nine archers participated from Barrier Coast Cairns, PCYC Townsville and the Tablelands. This was one of our best Interclub tournament participation for years. Just to make things exciting a Willy-Willy blew over six targets with arrows in and only one target blew the opposite way and smashed arrows. Three rounds were shot along with junior OzBow rounds over two days. A fun eliminations round (Match Play) was also shot. Jemma Denigan won the Hot Air Balloon Flight Voucher.
