Four beginners — Leanne Griffiths, Anita Wachtler and Ralph and Trixie Leosche — attended the Tableland Company of Archers coaching session on Sunday last. One beginner, Darryl Griffith, shot practice. Four members — Vitto Falvo, Will Smith and Jemma and Michael Denigan — shot practice. Two members shot a Holt round. Many thanks to one member who helped George with the field targets working bee during the week. Results Holt Round: (consists of 90 arrows each at 50m on an 80cm face) Open Men’s Compound: R Wachtler 611 Veteran Men’s BB Recurve: G Patten 497 Next Sunday October 14 coaching for beginners will be conducted at the grounds off Springs Rd, Mareeba from 9am till 12. They had some tricky air movements to contend with, which is reflected in the wide variance of the scores.
