Living on borrowed time
THE overpopulation debate seems to have got off track with so many seeming to think that putting people in unpopulated areas will solve the problem where in fact the real point is about what our planet can produce for us as in freshwater, food etc.
Currently the human population on earth is estimated to be about six times of the sustainable levels.
There is considerable thought that all will be OK by the 2050s when, according to science, this period is the most dangerous time for us and is probably where we will all meet our demise with 2052 being a key date.
We have been living on borrowed time for more than 50 years and in plague proportions. Nature will not tolerate this and there is a precedent. Our DNA is becoming corrupt and eventually we will kill ourselves.
