Last drinks signals new opportunity
Passion for tourism behind global gong
AFTER five years Liquorland has relinquished its lease at Reservoir Rd, Manoora, creating an opportunity for another retail outlet to take over the prominent spot.
In a busy neighbourhood shopping centre, Shop 6/1 Reservoir Rd, is in the perfect position to capture the homebound traffic every evening.
For that reason, CBRE agent Graeme Halsey said the former liquor outlet would suit a takeaway food store.
“The other anchor tenant is the NightOwl and the takeaways there stick around and tend to do good business,” he said.
‘The site could also suit a massage studio or podiatrist – it has really good parking and is in not a bad catchment area with all of Whitfield and Edge Hill close by.
“It has good exposure, good signage but it is probably not the best for another liquor store because of the proximity of others around the corner.”
The site comes complete with cool rooms if required.
It also features about 124 sqm of space and good customer carparking with an allweather awning over the front of the building.
There is a sublease until June 2021 or a new lease available. The property has rear door access for goods deliveries, shared amenities, ducted airconditioning and a secure building with an alarm system in place also make the shop a great location. The centre also includes the busy Enmore Newsagency. PASSIONS of Paradise has been recognised by global travel agency GetYourGuide in their annual awards for excellence.
Chief executive and cofounder Johannes Reck said an internal team of destination experts analysed and ranked GetYourGuide’s global inventory of 31,000 products in 7500 destinations in key categories and regions.
The ranking took into account the number and quality of reviews and the volume of bookings made through the site.
Passions of Paradise chief executive Scotty Garden said the locally-owned company was excited to be one of 200 winners worldwide, especially with just 22 winning products in Oceania.
“Knowing that we scored highly with passenger reviews of our Great Barrier Reef tour is especially gratifying as Passions of Paradise prides itself on excellent personalised customer service,” he said.
