Foreign raiders eye Cup
GAI Waterhouse has defended the internationalisation of the Melbourne Cup as almost a dozen Werribee-based raiders lay siege to Australia’s most famous race after yesterday’s second acceptances.
From an original pool of more than 180 horses, 47 remain in contention for next Tuesday’s $7.3 million race.
