New holy bones find

MORE bones have been found in the grounds of the Vatican’s embassy in Rome, adding grisly new evidence to the growing mystery over who was buried on Holy See territory and why.

A city coroner said yesterday that a preliminary study of bones found during an annex refurbishment last week indicated they belonged to a woman probably in her 30s when she died.

There was speculation those bones, and now the new find, could be the remains of one of two teenage girls who vanished in 1983.
