Seafood break

THE owners of Mission Beach Seafood will be taking a short break from 2pm Sunday. The business will reopen at 10am on November 21, ready for Christmas orders.

Island on show

FIVE-star Bedarra Island Resort will feature in Saturday’s Queensland Weekender episode. The show airs on Channel 7 at 5.30pm.

Recycle plastic

MISSION Beach residents can take soft plastic waste to the town’s Woolworths to be recycled. There is a bin near the service desk. The supermarket is at 38-40 Dickinson St, Wongaling Beach.

Book sale

TULLY Library will host a book sale on November 16-17 and 19. Most items are $1. Sale starts 10am on Friday and Monday and 9am on Saturday. For more information call 1300 366 616. The library is at 34 Bryant St.
