The art of kindness
YEAR 1 students Emmet Thistlewaite, Mia Tuppack and Lily Gorell, Jayden Lee, Prep, and Arielle Wingham, Year 5, made art which inspired St Andrew’s Catholic College’s mosaic called Wall of Wellbeing.
The Wall of Wellbeing mosaic is made of 24 tiles; one for each junior year’s class that when placed together in a grid, is the collation of several students’ pictorial representation of “What is Kindness”.
Students contributed to their class tiles by placing individual mosaics and a word selected by the class to capture it’s meaning regarding wellbeing and friendship.
