A total of 38 teams of three players turned out for the ambrose. “We raised $3341 for Do it for Cancer-Prostate Awareness,” co-organiser Dave Hazlett said. The club thanks all the sponsors and volunteers who made the event a huge success.

Well Cyclone Owen certainly put a dampener on the events at RMCC on the weekend. Hopefully, the rain was widespread and those who needed it finally got some respite from the dry conditions and fires. Revised dates for postponed events: As we are now in our unofficial Christmas break, the presentation night will be held on Saturday January 5. All golfers, their families, friends and our sponsors are most welcome to attend. The final of the Medal of Medals plus the January Medal will be played on Saturday January 5 so all players can stay for presentation night. Start time will be advised.
AGM: The AGM will be held at the club house at 10am on Sunday January 13. Chook run: This week’s Chook Run saw Dave Cassells catch the chicken, while Anne Heinemann was the best putter and took the NTP as well.
Sunday comps over break: December Sunday 23, 9 hole Ambrose for a 9am start. December Sunday 30, 9 hole Ambrose for a 2pm start. These are open for all players including visitors and non-members.
