Four men saved from Tully waters

FOUR men were rescued by swiftwater crews yesterday after two boats got into difficulty in Tully.

Queensland Ambulance Service tweeted that while the first boat was retrieved with the occupants uninjured, the second had overturned.

The other two men were later rescued by swiftwater crews with no injuries.

Emergency crews were on the scene off Tully Gorge Road following a report at about 4.20pm that a pair of boats, with two male passengers each, had been washed away.
