Tale takes readers on emotional rollercoaster

When a time of upheaval in Riley’s life throws things into disarray, Joy must adapt to the change, learning to put aside her differences with Sadness, while Fear, Anger and Disgust try to keep things functioning.
The story provides plenty of colourful and creative visuals to keep children entertained, while also imparting some important wisdom on the nature of growing up, when it’s okay to feel sad, and where to turn when life seems hard.
Each My Magical Story is available at participating newsagents, IGA and Woolworths for $2.80 with the token in the Cairns Post.
There are 15 stories in the collection, featuring a mixture of classic and contemporary hits from Disney and Pixar.
