How can we believe Bill Shorten when he doesn’t know where we live or who we are. We don’t live in Strailia and we are not Strailians. Please learn to enunciate properly. Proud Australian, Cairns
The irony will be when Labor voters howl that they want better education, healthcare and pensions. Here’s a hint … the billions of dollars needed will instead be going to border protection, administration costs, processing, legal fees, increased strain on our welfare system etc. At least the people smugglers will be happy. To correct Chris Calcino (CP, 10/02), cutting taxpayer-funded handouts to the wealthy is not “massive tax hikes”.
