Q&A WITH INFLUENCER INTERN ALEX BRADLEY

-

What was the highlight of your trip to the Far North? I absolutely loved exploring Far North Queensland. The Daintree Rainforest is spectacular, walking through Mossman Gorge is an experience I’ll absolutely treasure forever, I can’t wait to go back again one day — there is so much to see! Also, a more delicious highlight had to be our last stop on the drive back to Cairns, when we stopped into Floravilla Ice cream and I just had to try the “Daintree”. What is the best piece of advice you can give to prospective influencers? I think the best piece of advice I’ve been given is to be yourself and then this will come across in your photos. It’s all about defining what your personal brand is and staying true to that — be natural and keep it simple. Why do you want to be an influencer? It just seems like the most amazing job — fun, social and limitless. Being paid to travel and capture content is something that I think appeals to a lot of people, it definitely does to me. As it is still such a new profession as well, there’s a lot of intrigue and mystery surrounding what it takes to actually be an influencer. I’d love to inspire others that it is 100 per cent OK to be yourself and showcase the beautiful destinations our country has on offer. How do you find the middle ground between wanting likes and not letting it rule your life? I guess we are the Instagram generation so it is easy to understand how people can get caught up in it. I just think it’s always important to put everything into perspective and to not take these things too seriously.
