PRE-PACKAGED pharmaceuticals, supplement-infused beverages and toxin-free makeup could be the Far North’s biggest exports after featuring at a night aimed at enticing investors to the region.

Pharmacists Alex and Sylvia Kramm’s Pack and Pop, Jodie Evins’ Coco Luxe coconut water and Cindy Luken’s lük Beautifood took centre stage at FNQ Angels pitch event last week.

Ms Evins is currently in Los Angeles marketing her coconut water product, which is the first in the world fortified with healthy supplements such as probiotics and collagen.

“We had really good feedback from the FNQ Angels night, everyone was incredibly positive and really curious,” said the former beverage company boss.

“It was such an enjoyable experience for me to hear what everyone else was doing too.

“I believe there is some interest and I’ll follow up when I’m back.

“The good thing about my product is it’s a world first. No one provides coconut water with fortified ingredients. It’s giving people an occasion to purchase it, whether they need it for a workout or girls with their beauty regimen.”

Ms Luken’s menu of 12 tasty, 100 per cent natural, toxin-free, sheer colour lipsticks which “harness the beauty of food active nutrients” also garnered interest.

As pharmacists, Mr and Mrs Kram said they experienced first hand their patients’ confusion as they shopped for vitamins and felt frustrated they could not always get the chance to spend quality time with patients.

Their Pack and Pop product is a pre-package of vitamins in 28 sealed daily doses, delivered for free, and with recommendations from the professionals.

A pharmaceutical grade packing machine is used to sort and pack the pills ensuring customers don’t run out.

FNQ Angels president and Halpin Partners director Shaun Donaldson said “a few people already indicated they would be interested in some form of investment” after the pitch night.
