I hope the QLD Labor Government follows the NSW Liberal Government with the driverless trains. NSW Government are the leaders in great ideas. Trent the cabbie, Cairns
Can somebody from the Greens please go around and collect all your roadside pollution. These signs should have been removed a week ago. Greg, Cairns CBD
Wow. Just wow. One week after Labor’s election drubbing, four local Labor MPs (CP, 25/05) were asked their views on Adani. One said it must be “yes” or “no”. The other three dodged it. There is zero chance of Labor doing anything but pandering to inner city Greenies. Higgs, Tolga
When will this constant bickering between the left and right stop? The biggest threat to our way of life isn’t so called man made climate change, the loss off franking credits or negative gearing etc, it’s automation of the workplace and uncapped world population growth. In 20+ yrs time most of our kids will be fighting against greedy corporations/ shareholders & their robotic workforce! Gav, Redlynch
If Craig Crawford thinks the biggest issue we have is road congestion then I think he will be out of a job at the next election. What about power prices, lack of investment in tourism, environmental issues and youth unemployment? Come on Crawf don’t pick populist topics. Paulo Onechoppe, Redlynch
Paul Murray was spot on (CP, 25/05). I sadly heard a working mum of three in Darwin say “I voted Labor” I asked on what agenda n she said “I’m in the union“. Gayle, Redlynch
The Greens party and all it’s parliamentarians should be suspended. Its appalling they condone and actively support civil disobedience. They are promoting anarchy.
