The Cairns Post

On Cynthia Lui

-

The move by Cynthia Lui isn’t going to change anything. Labor’s representatives do nothing. Might as well have moved to Brisbane. David, Holloways Beach Spiro, Mareeba. You are dead right about your so-called MP. The two we’ve got down here are the same. They are pathetic. Cliff, Manoora to get NASA off the man-made global warming bandwagon because it lacked supporting empirical evidence. Higgs, Tolga Re: Millennial, Cairns. Don’t you dare have a go at boomers, people who gave your grandparents and parents a future after the war and built this country on a fair go for everyone based on good governance of respect and discipline, something that is lacking big time in today’s society. Millennials like you lack the foresight or fortitude, moral strength etc and you know why? Because you get it all too easy and object to everything. Go back under your rock and, if you don’t like what’s happening, buy a ticket to the moon. You probably don’t believe in the moon landing either. Probably a Green voter as well. William, Palm Cove Robert Mueller’s epic disaster of a congressional hearing today in Washington DC, has put the final nail in the coffin of the Russian collusion delusion. The Democrats have self destructed and given President Trump the keys to the White House for another four years in 2020. It’s hilarious. The Cane Cutter, Edmonton On Shields St (CP, 24/07). Our original city planners designed the CBD for traffic flow and accessibility. It worked well and the CBD thrived. The CBD started dying when traffic was squeezed out. This isn’t Europe. It’s hot outside and we don’t want to walk too far. Revert to the original CBD design and life will return. Rashmi, Edmonton Cairns should be a leading example on traffic, wildlife and waste management. Wider highways, rope crossings and sending rubbish to Mareeba isn’t the answer. Jason, Whitfield I fear that it is now too late for the climate cult’s attack on our power grid to be reversed, Peta Credlin (CP, 25/07). We will soon be like Venezuela, now on its third “black grid”, and with its economy a smoking ruin and its people starving. Depopulation and rewilding is part of the climate cult’s long-term plan. Woz, Parramatta Park Re: Nullinga Dam. How can we not go ahead with this? The government sends billions of taxpayers dollars overseas and yet can’t find a few hundred million for homegrown infrastructure. It’s about time we looked after our own first and, with drought covering so much of Australia, we need that infrastructure now. Beth, Kanimbla
