The future of robotics

-

THE word is out that we have nothing to fear from robotics as new jobs will be created building and programming them and humans will be trained to work alongside them all within the next decade.

What is not being said is that the world’s human population will increase considerably in that time and that the best way to build and program a robot is with another robot.

In a decade only one human will be required to oversee thousands of robots and probably more.

There seem to be many plans and ideas for our future with robots but little solid thought and ideas as to how humanity will cope with dramatically increased unemployment and a crime rate that will go through the roof.
