Plant more trees

WHAT is a world without water? Is there one?

Much research has been going on into the effects of drought and climate change on our forests, including the Wet Tropics rainforest. A single large tree in the rainforest may well express well over 1000 litres of precious water per day. Every day, especially in the humid wet season. A single large mature tree may express up to 100,000 litres into the atmosphere annually. We don’t see the water moving so it is hard to believe, but the science proves it.

Trees are finely attuned to the element of water. They have adapted to the moist tropical conditions and without the required amount of water their hydraulic systems tend to fail.

Eventually the trees will shut down. Then where will our water come from?

Climate change modelling predict serious droughts for rainforests.

New research advises that planting of three trillion trees may alleviate the carbon problems hominids have caused.

Please plant, plant and plant more trees. Climate change is the major problem facing out once beautiful planet.

Stop fossil fuel and get into renewable energy and tree planting. My father said “the next world war will be over water not oil”. Trees are rain makers.
