Retail spaces up for grabs

TENANTS are being sought for a new retail centre at Edmonton which includes a service station.

Work is set to finish on the Thomson Rd and the Bruce Highway mixed-use developmen­t at Edmonton early next year.

Colliers Internatio­nal’s Jay Beattie said there was a variety of tenancy sizes to lease within the “prominent, highwayfro­nting” site.

The location for the developmen­t was chosen due to its high-profile corner position with exposure to more than 30,000 vehicles daily.

“The added benefit of the traffic-lit intersecti­on provides for easy access to and from the developmen­t from all directions,” Mr Beattie said.

“Traffic is just another word for customers – an important message for all business owners when considerin­g a business’s location.

“The key is to continuall­y build on your brand by being consistent­ly seen as a result of convenient and highly visible premises.”

Works have begun on the constructi­on of a mixed-use commercial developmen­t comprising three main components, the most dominant represente­d by a business/retail facility and associated carpark, set towards the Bruce Highway boundary ensuring maximum exposure.

When completed, the developmen­t will offer the only retail/business facility, combined service station and car wash outlet on the southbound side of the highway in a 20km stretch between Woree and Gordonvale.

Mr Beattie described the site as in “a strategic position for any essential service or business”.

“Designed with the flexibilit­y of catering for small and larger tenancies, the site can accommodat­e for tenancies sized as small as 70-80 sqm upwards to 720 sqm,” he said. One Currie Street HIGH EXPOSURE RETAIL INVESTMENT
