Retail spaces up for grabs
TENANTS are being sought for a new retail centre at Edmonton which includes a service station.
Work is set to finish on the Thomson Rd and the Bruce Highway mixed-use development at Edmonton early next year.
Colliers International’s Jay Beattie said there was a variety of tenancy sizes to lease within the “prominent, highwayfronting” site.
The location for the development was chosen due to its high-profile corner position with exposure to more than 30,000 vehicles daily.
“The added benefit of the traffic-lit intersection provides for easy access to and from the development from all directions,” Mr Beattie said.
“Traffic is just another word for customers – an important message for all business owners when considering a business’s location.

Works have begun on the construction of a mixed-use commercial development comprising three main components, the most dominant represented by a business/retail facility and associated carpark, set towards the Bruce Highway boundary ensuring maximum exposure.
When completed, the development will offer the only retail/business facility, combined service station and car wash outlet on the southbound side of the highway in a 20km stretch between Woree and Gordonvale.
Mr Beattie described the site as in “a strategic position for any essential service or business”.
