It’s just not cricket

-

I THOUGHT the aim in cricket was to hit the wickets to get a batsman or woman out – not his head.

So refreshing to watch women’s cricket. No ducking and weaving to avoid bouncers.

Just close, exciting cricket. Not that I have sympathy for the Poms. After all they started it with Bodyline.

I guess we’ll have to wait until someone else is badly injured/killed before the macho cricketers wake up to themselves.

It’s just not cricket. No matter what they say.
