Exploring merger pays off
THOSE with a keen eye might have noticed a change in a Mulgrave Rd property office recently.
Rent City and Andrew Evan Real Estate have joined forces under the Explore Property brand.
Principal Kyle Olufson said the decision to merge stemmed from a desire to achieve “clarity of vision as to where we were going as a company”.
“Our clients and our team members, we feel, get greater connectivity with the one single brand,” he said.
“We had built a large management business looking after in excess of 500 rental properties and we have a team of fantastic sales agents who are achieving great results.
“Bringing the two teams together will allow us to make a bigger impact not only within our marketplace but within our community too.”
Although he admitted change could be scary in the real estate industry, Mr Olufson said the team, processes and people remained the same.
“Our clients may have been curious at first, but they’ve embraced the new brand and they’ve begun to experience the benefits it will bring as an Explore client,” he said.
“We’ve received an abundance of quality feedback from buyers at our weekend open homes and in addition our colleagues throughout the industry have expressed how attractive and welcoming the new brand appears.
“People love property, whether they are buying a home for their family or investing in property for their future.
“There is something special about property and the connection we have with it.
“The name ‘Explore Property’ and in particular the term ‘explore’ can easily align and associate with the buyer, seller, landlord and tenant’s own journey and what it is that they hope to achieve from property.
