Bin cover is on the way
AS the community on the southside may know, the Lions have a “money spinner” collection bin at Mount Sheridan Plaza which is generally well supported.
We know that some members of the public also use this bin as a garbage disposal area which is pretty revolting. We also know that some “grubs” are dipping into the bin to get some coins for their own use.
We wish to advise the generous members of the public that we are endeavouring to fabricate a cover to hopefully prevent the “grubs” from helping themselves. Unfortunately the police do not have the time to look at this petty stealing. Probably parents should be more involved.
We thank the generous members of the public for their continued support and you can be sure the funds raised go to many worthy groups in our area.
