On bushfires

Agree totally Peta Credlin. The silent majority have had enough of the “chain gang” and their antics. Blind Freddy can see what happens when controlled burns are not done. Way too much loss of life and animals. So bugger the Greenies and just get on with it.

Despite the horrific scenes the world has witnessed with our recent firestorms, our local laptop science sceptics have given our planet a clean bill of health. The “do nothing strategy“by Trump and China is continuing to give the world clean air and stable weather patterns. Just don’t travel anywhere near Los Angeles, Shanghai, Mumbai or any other of the basket cases. Professor Ridd says our Reef is in pristine condition so nothing to worry about there. Any royal commission blaming

CO2 for anything other than plant growth would be conspiracy set up by the Greens.

With so much attention on bushfires and drought it’s worth mentioning that Aussie taxpayers will be funding foreigners to the tune of $4 billion in 2020 as foreign aid. Imagine how much better off we would be if our own food growers were showered with such largesse, perhaps as new dams and pipelines.

Woz, Parramatta Park so many have from horrific wars and genocide that has happened in the past 150 years or less? That’s just an excuse for bad behaviour and quite simply they need to get over it.

I’m on a level two federal homecare package. I’ve recently changed accredited providers. Their people, who call each week to do two-hours cleaning, are just as positive and effective. There is a difference in charges of $4300 a year which accumulates, so later in life if I need extra care the money is there. Robert, Earlville

Just wanted to give a pat on the back to the crew that did the roadworks on Severin St last year. Got it done quick and easy. The place is looking great. Well done.

The most thoroughly debunked and disproved professional climate alarmist of them all is Dr Michael Mann. It is really sad to see newspapers treating him with credibility (CP, 16/01), particularly after his spectacular court loss in his defamation action against journalist Mark Steyn.

Glacier National Park is removing signs stating the glaciers would be gone by 2020. For more than a decade the human-caused climate change forecast signs predicted the glacier’s doom. The glaciers are still there. It is the signs that are doomed.

Re: Jelly Babies. I think the perfect positioning for these five guys is the ship terminal at the Wharf. What a great photo opportunity for visitors to Cairns and a great way to welcome people to our city. There is enough grassed area there to show these guys off.

Actually, anyone who knows crocodiles will tell you that crocodiles in their territory keep other crocodiles out. Better the one you see, than not see.
