The bigger question about the Mossman

A bad look for any visitor/holidaymakers in our region.

Go for a drive in the dark early hours of the morning through any suburb north and south and you will see children and adults lurking in the dark areas.

As soon as the light falls on them they try and hide.

Can’t tell me they are up to any good? Trinity Beach Early Learning Centre at 2.30am. Strange car, three people, and two adults lurking in the dark casing out units and possibly the early learning centre.

Placed spotlight on them and they bolted.

Tried calling Policelink.

Waited for 25 minutes and no answer. Disgusting and disgraceful.

Hung up in disgust.

Where were the police here to cover and patrol this region?

I feel for them as the few police that are here have their hands full and then the judges release offenders who have breached bail conditions countless times.

Those, young and old, doing the crimes know what they are up to and need to be dealt with and judged accordingly.

Give the police the power to kick the children in the backsides as they did to us back in the 70s and 80s and then take them back to the parents crying, if that’s what you can call them.

When it all boils down to it the lawmakers have truly screwed up.

I feel for the people who may have been done over or who have a home invasion. I’m disgusted.
