Dave Cassels showed the opposition a clean pair of heels twice in one week, taking out the Chook Run on Wednesday as well as Sunday’s comp. Obviously no lasting effects from being hit by a stray golf ball at Garnet last week. Sunday’s Fun Day was enjoyed by all who attended. Thanks to Gavin Wright from WBD who donated the prizes for the day. Prudence Wright was the runner-up.

On Wednesday, Jo Klease was the best putter. A big thank you to our Social Night patrons for your support. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the dining area has been reorganised to accommodate new measures on social distancing and other hygiene measures.

Social Nights will continue in the future, although the government may announce more changes in the future. Please visit our website and our Facebook page for up to date information. On the course social distancing is easily achieved. Take your driver and extend it out from your shoulder and rotate your body through 360 degrees.

With a radius of approx. 1.74m you have the 1.5m covered plus the circle you create has an area of approx. 9.5 sqm, more than double the 4 sqm currently advised … these measurements are mine. If you are smaller or taller than me, there will be a slight variation.

Next Sunday being the fifth Sunday for the month, we will have another fun day Sunday open to all.

Come on out at 9am for a 9.30am start. Everyone is welcome, particularly children. With other sports shut down this is a good time to introduce them to something different. Good golfing and c u @ the 19th (at a safe distance of course).
