Doubling Newstart

WHAT a fabulous package for those workers who lost their income through no fault of their own (should be more) however for many of the other Newstart recipients, many of whom have never had a job and have no intention of getting employment, it will be party time.

Meanwhile the aged pensioners who have worked for 50 years-plus get a bonus of $1500 over several months, which will help, but not as much as doubling the pension for six months would.

Once again the older workers get forgotten.
