The Cairns Post

Keep up the great work

-

I AMAZED myself this week watching the news and the latest on COVID-19 by actually feeling sorry for a high-ranking politician.

ScoMo has done a fair job so far; I hope he keeps going. All bad things that have happened have all been done by the public not doing the right thing.

There is a couple of areas where we/ he could have done better, and this may be our Premier’s doings.

Cairns and major airports in Australia should have been shut down a lot earlier. Afterall, Cairns is an international airport and the gateway to Asia.

This is proven by the number of

Asians disembarking the just landed planes.

I believe ScoMo is handling this problem much better than the mighty Trump who appears to be losing it at times.

So come on Australia, don’t do crazy things and keep up the great work. Patrick Hopper, Mt Sheridan
