Amid the turmoil the COVID-19 has created around the world, golf in Queensland is one sport still available, abiding by all the safeguards laid down by the government and Golf Queensland, Millaa Millaa Golf Club today held its monthly medal sponsored by Mungalli Dairy, Malanda RSL and Millaa Millaa Hotel.

We had a very good turnout for Sunday’s event and everyone was very aware of the rules and made sure that they did the right thing at all times. Well done all.

There were some very good scores but none better then Lenny Hankinson who romped it in with a brilliant 60 net. I am told this was a 77 off the stick and 45 stableford points.

In second place with a very creditable 65 net was Paul Foster, who was followed by Geoff Errey with a net 69.

Today proved that we can play and obey all the safety restrictions currently in place ensuring that everyone is safe.
