Come on Australian­s, can we show ourselves and the world that we are strong in the face of national disaster, and not weak-kneed scaredy-cats. Our soldiers have gone to war on many occasions, knowing the conditions would be horrific and then they would probably die. Currently many of us are afraid to download the corona app because of a false selfish fear. Please download the app in respect for all the soldiers who lost their lives so we could have what we have today. Gary, Kamerunga

Hundreds of thousands of Aussies are losing their jobs and income. I bet not one politician has lost a cent out of their income.

Firstly the NRL lied to us and said safety was their primary concern as the pandemic hit regarding players and the community. In fact their major concern was money. Then during the pandemic lockdown hardly a day went by where a player or players didn’t flout the rules the rest of us were expected to obey. Now we’re expected to believe there is no chance of any infections if the game restarts? In the midst of this out come the anti-vaccinatio­n brigade. It adds up to fantasy land stuff from a code with dubious leadership and a playing group with too many self entitled Prima Donna’s obviously led by “influencer­s” not science. No vaccinatio­ns no playing. An overpaid and over entitled rabble.

The Morrison government and State premiers have done their best to stop the spread of this pandemic, saving lives and putting food on the table for those who lost their jobs, and all these ostriches can think about is losing their civil liberties and crying socialism. Now tell me who are the real enemies of the people?
