Have the rules changed for the use of Indicators in vehicles? Some drivers use them at the last moment or not at all. Who taught them to drive?

If government seriously concerned about cassowaries and human lives on Kuranda Range, simply reduce trucks. Create employment by lowering railway tunnel floors by one metre. Cart shipping containers and Cairns tip rubbish by rail to Mareeba. Should have been done years ago but thanks to ministers of like

Entsch, Katter and Pitt, nothing ever happens.

Convicted offender for violent robbery gets two-year jail sentence by judge, but eligible for parole in August. Will see the eligibility approved. So why a two-year sentence when it will get reduced to two months after judge’s decision? No deterrent to criminal behaviour.

Australia has been in recession (CP, 04/06) for years but that fact has been obscured by mass immigration and by including government debt in GDP. Politicians are desperate to prop up asset prices for their wealthy supporters and importing people and borrowing money the public must pay back is how they’ve been doing it. If it sounds like we the people have been sold out it’s because that’s exactly what has happened. Joanne, Manunda

The race themes and violence in Democrat states and cities in the US (CP, 04/06) are being promoted by Antifa. The secretive Antifa leader, publicly known as “Chepe”, has been photographed with at least five Democrat senators and representatives. But the Democrat-run media want to blame President Trump for it all. Insultingly, they want us to believe them. And they wonder why they’re surprised at election time.

Ric, Brinsmead

Al (CP, 04/06) if people are living in Cairns why can’t they be regarded as” locals” no matter where they came from?

Elly, Manunda

Wandering cat (CP, 03/06). Your cat is so beautiful. There are some miserable petty people around here that’s for sure. Unbelievable! If u were my neighbour I would’ve loved seeing Monty. Be happy & safe Lesley, Lara and Monty. Alice. Palm Cove
