Why are we blamed?

-

ENOUGH is enough, I like many Australians are not even remotely related to Captain Cook and all that sailed with him, so why are we always blamed for all that has gone on since he arrived in Australia?

My ancestors arrived in Australia as migrants or just plain immigrants. They came here for a better life than that which they left in a far-off country.

I am sure they would be pretty disappointed in Australia today. All their children and grandchildren are being blamed for something that happened even before they arrived here.

I was brought up sharing everything in Australia with all kinds of people from all over the world and we got on very well indeed. Now what has happened? We are all called racists and bigots. Why?

Because some smart alec decided that we, and I mean we, are responsible for all that has happened in the last 250 years or so.

I cannot fathom our indigenous people asking for so much all the time. We cannot do anything about the past; please stop this rubbish and get on with our and your lives.

You are all becoming a poor buggerme nation with nothing to do but find fault with everything in the community.

Get over it and tell whoever is getting into your brains to go away now.
