Flying fox relocation

RELOCATION activities of flying foxes, which began at the Cairns City Library last Saturday morning, have successfully discouraged the majority of the animals from returning to the site or settling in other areas within the CBD. As a result, Cairns Regional Council will run the deterrent program from 4am every morning using nonlethal deterrence measures until August 2.
