THE crew of hit TV show All 4 Adventure have returned from the Gulf to regroup in Cairns ahead of the next series filming due to air on Channel 10 later this year.

Series 12 of the four-wheeldrive, camping and fishing getaway show is expected to focus on the Northern Territory and parts of southern Cape York.

All 4 Adventure host Jase Andrews said two four-wheeldrive vehicles to be used in the show had been fitted with custom canopies at Norweld Australia’s Hartley St workshop.

“Every time we change a vehicle we get a new Norweld canopy and that’s an integral part of how we set up our vehicles,” he said.

“We need the canopy to carry a boat loader and a rooftop tent. All our refrigeration, tools and charging equipment for our cameras all happens as part of the canopy set up.

“Norweld are a great Australian

company and we are very proud to partner with them.”

The show is currently halfway through shooting the series, which will air in the first week of December.

“We have spent some time in central Queensland and the Gulf country and we will be heading off again soon from Cairns to film more of northern Australia,” Mr Andrews said.

The recent opening of Cape York to all Aussie visitors except Victorians has allowed vehicles to take in Cape York points of interest before heading west into the Northern Territory.

“There is potential to visit more territory within Cape York. Now that restrictions have been lifted it makes our ability to produce a television show a lot easier,” he said.

“We do produce some of our best content in Cape York.

“Our mantra is ‘off the beaten track’ and we generally stay clear of the well-known and well beaten (paths) like the Telegraph Track. We try and find country that rarely gets visited by your average tourist.

“And we are fortunate enough to quite often get access to traditional land and we also get access to private land but certainly for us it’s about finding those remote and challenging destinations.”
