Keepsake to treasure

-

TOMORROW’S Cairns Post will be an edition for families to treasure because it celebrates local students’ first year in school.

The My First Year 2020 feature comes free with Wednesday’s paper and will feature hundreds of prep students from 57 classes in 26 Far North Queensland schools.

Cairns Post editor Jennifer Spilsbury said My First Year was a special keepsake that could be treasured for years to come.

“2020 has been such a strange year, full of turbulence and new obstacles that arguably no prep has ever faced before them,” Mrs Spilsbury said. “Our preps are a resilient bunch.

“They have weathered so much turbulence and all with a smile on their face.”
