PROTECT THE MAJORITY

-

We are in a vicious war against COVID-19 and what this highly contagious viral disease can do to our population.

In a war the prime minister and cabinet must and will make urgent, strong and sometimes unpopular rulings to ensure the safety of the greater mass of citizenry.

A small number of our citizens will be caught out financially or medically and be unable to get out of an unhealthy or dangerous situation until restrictions are lifted. Some may get ill, some may die.

Our government is doing the best that it can in this new and evolving pandemic, the likes of which we have not before experienced in the modern era.

Those people and families damaged through no fault of their own deserve our support and compassion but must obey the government strictures imposed. The 25 million at home must be protected against the import of the virus by “the few”.

The prime minister and his government are deserving of our support and do not deserve the avalanche of whining generated by the Labor opposition and Greens who are hellbent on using any avenue to denigrate the ruling party to the detriment of the Australian citizen.

Australia is not ruled by dissidents on Twitter or whiners on webcam but by a democratically elected government.

Social “influencers”, sports “VIPs”, social justice “heroes” and wannabe social commentators should stop whining and keep off the media.

The Labor movement’s lack of support to assist our people to be protected and overcome this cruel and insidious disease smacks of cynical political opportunity.
