MOSSMAN AND DISTRICT RIFLE CLUB

Double 600m.

With the sun out in full force, we had to deal with heat and a fairly strong mirage at the start of the day, which seemed to die off a little in the second range.

In target rifle:

Rick Mischlewski shot a 46.1, a good score with the conditions we had.

F Open:

Norbert Schmidt opened the round for scope shooters with a good score of 57.2, tricky mirage and a slight shifting breeze enough to steal 3 points from him.

Hunter Class:

Wayne Walsh started his day with a really good score of 49.5 out of 50, Brendan Delaney also in hunter class shot a good score of 46.1.

F Std:

Carl Read starting out, came in with a good score of 58.3 out of 60, Bill Kromwyk next down, only dropping 1 point on this detail to come in with a really good score of 59.5, excellent shooting. John Brentson shot well and posted a 56.3 and Tom Baetscher had a bit of a rough start to finish with 50.0.

With the mirage abating slightly in the second detail, scores improved for most.

Rick shot a great second detail only dropping 2 points to come in with a 53.2

Norbert shot well and finished with a credible 62.3.

Wayne shot really well on this range getting the lot with 55.7, excellent shooting Wanye. Brendan also shot well with a 53.2 good shooting.
