Many moons ago, an Indigenous Elder from Yarrabah told me that when big mango trees around Cairns bear little fruit, Cairns is set for a thumping cyclone. He knew nothing about La Nina or any other whitefella predictions that cost billions, that were wrong last two wet seasons. He was 100% correct before Larry & Yasi. Perhaps if Indigenous Elders had a voice in parliament, many things they know make Australia a better place. Nothing much Entsch says comes to fruition, or makes Australia a better place.

The Woke spoke and Gina Rinehart acted accordingly. Netball Aust are now bemoaning the lack of $15m sponsorship. See what happens when you bite the hand that feeds you.

Netball Australia made a $2m loss last year. It’s mistake was to believe a white Australian whose dad made some disgusting racist remarks in the 80s offering over $15m over four years in sponsorship would save them. Players say no. Players will obviously all be taking a significant pay cut, that’s if the organisation doesn’t go bankrupt. Decisions come with consequences.

To all athletes, If you are so against carbon pollution then maybe you should stop flying everywhere for your sport and find alternate transport. As everyone knows the worst form of carbon pollution is aircraft pollution. Be very careful of virtue signalling your climate stance as it could not only cause you to lose lucrative sponsors but you may lose a few dollars in your paypacket as well. Remember not all sports have lucrative sponsors. Especially grassroots sports.

Rugby League World Cup – what a joke! Outlandish score lines played out in front of minimal crowds. Only three of the sixteen teams can make the final. Sadly that will not include the ‘powerhouses’ of Jamaica & Greece! Seriously?

What a shame that governments listened to climate alarmists and built desalination plants instead of dams. Now, instead of being drought proof, we have to pay 8% more for produce due to unrestrained floods (22/10). Jeremy, Kanimbla

How long are FNQ tourism operators going to let JCU get away with spreading scare stories about the Reef? Reef tourism is being hobbled by Reef alarmism. It’s about time the tourism industry called these alarmism-for-profit academics out. Sasha, Holloways Beach

Climate change is costing us billions of dollars annually, so instead of launching an AUKUS nuclear submarine sometime in the next 20 years, the money should be spent helping people rebuild their lives after wildfires, cyclones and floods. Stewart, Edmonton

After recent extreme flood events in Australia and around the world, it’s no wonder Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has signed a green deal with Albo CP 19/10. Banning the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in the next decade will be crucial in achieving that.

Well unlike the”Covid Farce/Flu” period and all the supply chain issues, it’s highly likely that in the near future we probably won’t have to worry about supply chain issues, but for the simple fact will be most people wont be able to afford to shop because of the price gouging that all forms of regimes have allowed to go unfettered for far too long, eh?

Bob’s Bed Tax – another council crisis that the state government has to fix.
