Friday Scroungers: Winner was Irene Crampton with the R/U being Ken Vivian.

Tuesday afternoon: The winning team was Norm Kehrer, Trevor Moulds and John Poplin with 24pts and the R/U team was Neil Mallyon, Steve Wilson and? with 14pts and +7 in the second game. The jackpot was won on the day by the Snake’s team. Please fill the game sheets with the correct name of the players.

Thirsty Thursday: the best players for the day were John Greenway, John Reid, and Edna.

Sunday: The winning team was Trevor moulds, T’mor and Mal Taylor with 22pts and the R/U team was Larry, Rick Radinga and Steve Smith with 22pts and +8 in the second game. Jackpot of was not won (+25).

Club Championship Season 2023 – A Singles games played was won by John Banes 25pts def Ted Hamilton 15 pts. The other Singles Games was won by Phil Buntain 27pts defeating Peter Mathews 9pts. Also, Bill Berger 25 pts defeated Boris Mlikota 15pts. In the “A” pairs John Banes and john Blades 48 pts def Peter Travis and Dave Nichols 3pts also Jeff Smith and Steve Smith 27pts defeated Glen Donovan and Eddie Czarnecki 16pts. The Draw for the “A” pairs and Singles require Skips to organise their games to play and check with Helen that the Rinks are free to play.

Men’s Championship Bowls:

Club Championship A Singles winner was Kim Mitchell defeating Ashley

White 25-14. B Singles had Rob Wilson defeat Mike Wilson 26-8. Club Pairs had Wayne Hunter and John Hayes defeat Wok Nicholson and John Parker 21-18. Mixed Social Bowls for Tuesday Night 28th March 2023 cancelled. Wednesday 29th March 2023 winners were Sony, Irene and Mucka. R/U: Ron, Terry and Tony McAlary. Saturday 1st April 2023 Social Bowls winners were Dave Wootton and Peter Whitehead. R/ U: Elaine Whitehead and Brenton Sloper.

Cairns Senior High School year 12 students bowling classes have completed all 16 hour sessions. ARC Disability bowlers return for more action each Tuesday at 9:30am this week.

Also Pinnacle Support Service have approached the Club for classes. Upcoming Bowls events at Edge Hill are Great Barrier Reef Masters Games. 25th -28th May 2023.

Club Bowls Premier League (BPL) will be held on 4th June 2023.

INNISFAIL MENS:

Thursday afternoon saw 32 bowlers on the green. Winners of the day was the team of Sergio DellaPozza, Sam Pagano, Alan Morrison and Lou Fedalto. New members and visitors most In A-Grade Club Singles, John Phillips defeated Snow Clark and Rob Chaplain defeated Ian Revie.

In Club Fours, Mick Devries, Ian Humphries, John Phillips and Mal Bright defeated Alf Siliato, Alf Strano, Snow Clark and Greg McDonald.
