Dam bandwagon
If the fairytales predicted by Professor Tim Flannery were true, the east coast of Australia would have been under water years ago.
But still they continue to blame and destroy Australian industry for creating one per cent of the world’s carbon emissions causing floods, fires, drought and the death of the Great Barrier Reef. Special envoy to the GBR, Senator Nita Green promotes millions to encourage more shipping to Cairns Port but refuses to conduct any environmental impact statements on the increased effects of shipping upon the GBR. The average massive cruise ship produces 30,000 gallons of sewerage per day. When Covid stopped the boats it was scientifically proven that the health of the GBR dramatically improved.
Taxpayer subsidies are paid to foreign owned renewable energy providers, to provide unreliable, short lived energy that is already brutalising our forests and native wildlife. Racking up more mega massive debt for future generations to repay is certain to create dire consequences. Some day China will want their money back.
Not one politician will ever publicly debate or challenge eminent professors who speak of the critical importance of dams to provide FNQ with intelligent infrastructure needs for drinking water, agriculture and reliable hydro electricity capable of powering industry that also provides a safe habitat for Australian native wildlife. Nor will their hand-picked climate change scientists, cashing in on the gravy train, powered by pure BS. I wonder why not?
