Bargains to be found at annual sale

-

THIS Saturday the Childbirth and Parenting Education Association will hold their annual Nearly New Sale at Fairholme College from 9am to 1pm.

The sale will offer families the chance to buy quality second-hand babies and children’s clothing, toys, books, DVDs, nursery furniture, prams, car seats, maternity wear and much, much more.

“This sale is our main source of fundraising,” CPEA President Jane Laird-Pick said.

“We sell items on behalf of the sellers and take a small cut to assist in the running of our association throughout the year.

“Southern Cross Ford is also sponsoring the event. So for each test drive they conduct on Saturday morning up at Fairholme, they are kindly donating $40 to our association”.

“So we encourage visitors to the Nearly New Sale to take an obligation-free test drive whilst at the sale on Saturday as the money goes to a great cause.”

In addition to the Southern Cross Ford some of the stall holders include My Midwives, Butterfly House Design, Children’s Party Stars, Leisa’s Kindermusic and the Kath Dickson Family Centre.

Food and refreshments on the day will include a Lions Club sausage sizzle, coffee by Two Moos and a CWA baked goods stall.

Toowoomba School of Dance will also be conducting open dance classes and demonstrations.

Parking is available from the Wirra Wirra St entrance.
